• Account info: name, email address, and password when you create an account or join the waitlist.
• Financial data: when you connect a bank account (via our trusted partner Plaid), we receive read-only transaction and balance data. We never see or store your bank login credentials.
• Bill & budget data: the bills, accounts, and goals you add manually.
• Usage data: basic analytics (pages viewed, features used) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Payedia service.
• To send you bill reminders, alerts, and account-related notifications.
• To respond to support requests.
• To detect fraud and keep your account secure.

3. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data, ever.
• We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not access your bank credentials — Plaid handles that securely.

4. Who We Share Data With

We only share data with service providers we need to run Payedia:

• Plaid — secure bank connections.
• Cloud hosting & database providers — to store your data securely.
• Email & analytics providers — to send notifications and understand product usage.

These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

5. How We Protect Your Data

We use bank-grade 256-bit encryption in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited and audited. Your bank connection is read-only — Payedia cannot move money on your behalf.

6. Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing admin@payedia.com. Depending on where you live (e.g., California, EU), you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA.

7. Children's Privacy

Payedia is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
